last warm day for areas from boston down to d.c. going to be about ten degrees cooler as we go throughout the weekend. especially in the nights, too. a little windy and breezy. all that cold air today has already settled into minneapolis. chicago, some snow showers along with your friends all through the great lakes region. as far as the southeast, it's going to get chillier as we go through saturday and sunday. but it's still going to stay sunny. texas isn't going to be too bad and then the northern plains, it's going to be cold but at least we're not going to see a lot of snow. even into sunday, it's not horrible. temperatures in the 40s in new england. southeast in the 50s. overall, a nice, quiet period but much cooler this weekend. >> sounds nice. >> safe travels. >> yeah. >>> i'm veronica de la cruz. this is "first look" on msnbc. thank you so much for joining us. have a terrific friday.
